Partitioning open-plan workspaces via augmented reality

Digital augmentation of the physical world could be used to alter the perception of the surrounding space or to support the personalization of mixed-reality spaces. Our research examined the potential of virtual spatial elements using in a real work environment. We conducted user testings, analyzed performance results, observed several influences that virtual partitions can have in workspaces. In this research, we delivered HCI and HBI design, spatial transformation, user research and testing, and data visualizations.
